Cookies & local storage

Last updated 16 October 2026

Okay Resume uses local storage to remember your work and application caches to support offline use.

Browser storage

Resumes and appearance preferences are saved in this browser's local storage for this site. They remain until you delete them or the browser clears or evicts site data. This storage is not automatically sent to a server.

Offline cache

The web version caches application files, fonts, example content and downloaded rendering libraries. Resume content is saved in local storage, separately from the application cache. Offline use depends on the required files having loaded during an online visit and the browser retaining them.

Cookies and advertising

The web version loads Google Analytics only after you enable Settings > Usage analytics and Firebase is connected. Analytics can use browser cookies or storage to recognise visits and measure engagement. It is off by default, and switching it off stops future collection. The web version does not show ads. The Android and iOS apps show ads from Google AdMob, which stores ad and consent data on your device and may use your advertising ID; see the Privacy policy. Local storage and caches support saving your work, remembering appearance and running offline. The website host and the external library provider may handle connection information under their own policies, as described in the Privacy policy.

Your choices

Delete individual resumes from the Resumes page. To remove all local resumes and preferences on the web, clear this site's data in your browser settings. Clearing just the cache can remove offline files while leaving resumes in local storage. Export anything important before clearing site data.

Blocking storage or using a private browsing session can prevent persistent saving or offline use. The installed app uses local files instead of browser storage.
